a few FYIs for you
your wedding gallery
About 4-6 weeks after your wedding day, your wedding gallery will be delivered via an online gallery. From there you'll be able to download any and all photos to print, share, etc. however you'd like. The high resolution downloads are what you'll use for printing, and the "web size" photos are what you should choose for any social media or texting use, as they are much smaller files. (And yes, the watermark will be removed upon download.)
Once delivered, please be sure to download ALL of your high resolution photos and keep them somewhere safe - preferably a cloud-based storage service like Dropbox, Amazon Web Services, or iCloud. If you store them on your computer only, you won't have access to them in the off chance your computer fails. Cloud-based services ensure that you'll have access to your files anywhere, anytime and for as long as you have the account. I will keep your gallery hosted live for one year, but please please take the time to back these up and keep them safe!

The gallery hosting service I use, called PicTime, is mobile-friendly. You'll be able to download web size images directly from your gallery to your mobile device!
accessing your gallery with your phone
You will have the option to order professionally printed, archival quality prints directly through your online gallery and have them shipped to your home.
Prints ordered through a photographer are printed in a professional lab to ensure color and contrast accuracy. That said, you are more than welcome to print images on your own wherever you would like.
However, I would warn you to avoid places like Target and Costco. I cannot promise that your colors will print correctly or stand the test of time if you choose to print at those stores!
I often run a few print and album sales throughout the year, so keep your eye peeled for those. It's always worth ordering a couple of professional prints so you can see the difference in quality for yourself.
ordering prints
Once you receive your photos, you are free to share wherever you'd like! Social media, printing, sending to friends - any of it. When your gallery is delivered, a link will be provided that you can use to share with anyone you wish.
However, please avoid from adding new Instagram filters or re-editing the images. And when you share, photo credit is always appreciated - this helps me to reach more awesome potential couples to work with.
Note: will already be passing the gallery on to your vendors for you, so you don't have to worry about that piece.

Whether you pre-ordered an album when you booked, or you're hoping to order one after your wedding, great! Ordering an album is not only a fun way to re-live your wedding each year with your partner, but it's a great way to preserve those memories on paper for future generations. There's something magical about viewing photos on paper vs. just your phone or your computer.
